The Bible is clear : every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that God has been just and the justifier of them that believe in Jesus. Isaiah 45:23; Romans 14:11; Phillippians 2:10; Romans 3:26 .

All the saved, all the lost, all the fallen angels, all the unfallen angels, and all of whatever intelligent beings that there may be in the universe...ALL will declare that God has been honest, that God has been fair, that God has been right...in creating man in His image, although Adam`s sin brought suffering of enormous proportion to billions on this earth, who did not ask to be born, but came into life with sinful natures, unable of themselves to do good, no not one of them.

Was there any other way that life could be given to independent creatures without the shame and pain which ensued ? Are there doubts in the minds of unfallen angels that did not follow Lucifer, that there could have been some other way ?

A good case can be made against God. Void of what you know today, could you read the Old Testament and discern that the Promised One would be almost two people, a Suffering Servant and a Conquering King, who would come on two separate occasions ?

How can the lost approve of a plan that excludes them ? Only a God of infinite wisdom and unfathomable love, could conceive and  execute such a program.

While there can be much speculation as to how man can be like God, there are two ways in which we can be fairly certain.

1. God is a triune being which the dictionary defines as three persons in one. Man is a biune  [unfortunately, not in the dictionary] , two persons in one, male and female. Eve not not come from other dust, but from Adam. She is part of him.

2. Just as God could bring forth after his image, so mankind, male and female, can bring forth after their image.

Male and female are responsible for their offspring, food, clothing, shelter, etc. Should the children break the neighbor`s window, the parents have to pay. They are liable for the actions of their children.

HERE IS THE HEART AND SOUL OF THE PLAN OF SALVTION.

For God to produce beings in His image, He must accept accountability for their acts. It is the Father who must pay for the broken window.This is the heart and soul of the plan of salvation:

GOD IS 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR SALVATION !!!

Fallen man cries out, What must I do to be saved ? A surface answer is, Believe and repent. The saved man will believe and repent, however, a deeper study of scripture reveals that faith and repentance are gifts of God, and no one can come to Christ except they be drawn. Ephesians 2:8; Romans 12:3; Matthew 16:16,17; Acts 5:31;11:18; II Timothy 2:25; John 6:44 .

God is 100% responsible for salvation, yet the thrust of much of Christianity today is for man to believe and repent. The focus is on man and his new birth, and how he  overcomes sin and live righteously in this present world . While these points are stressed in the Bible, why are they stressed in the Bible when it is Christ who has overcome sin on behalf of the believer ?

The believer is to live righteously before his fellowman, but no one lives righteously before God, no, not one.Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Romans 3:10-12. Noah was blameless among the people of his time.Genisis 6:9 NIV. WHY ? For the benefit of others.

LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE AMONG  MEN THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS AND GLORFY YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. Matthew 5:16.

The law, the rule of conduct, is our schoolmaster to bring us to CHRIST over and over and over again. Our failure to meet its demands sends us to the foot of the cross where our justification is IN Jesus Christ, and not IN us.

This is why the Bible exhorts, commands, requires that believers live righteous lives. And they will live righteously before men which is evidence, a consequence, a results of their salvation which the Father has worked out in the Person of His dear Son... and not part of it, which would be salvation by human works. God is 100% responsible for salvation and this should be the focus of the Christian message today.

In John 12 beginning in verse 23, Jesus is speaking of His impending death. In verse 31 He says:

NOW IS THE JUDGMENT OF THIS WORLD.

In Israel the Day of Atonement was symbolic of the judgment. It came on the 10th day of the 7th month or about 2/3 through the year. According to Ussher`s chronology Jesus came about 2/3 of the way through the 6,000 year history of this world. From Adam to Abraham was 2,000 years. From Abraham to Christ was 2,000 years. And from Christ to our day 2,000 years.

Adam, father of humanity, had sinned and brought this curse on the race. Although responsible, Adam could not atone, pay the price of sin. God had created Adam, was responsible for Adam and Adam`s children. So God gave humanity a new Adam, a new father, even the Second Person of the Godhead, who could be responsible. Isaiah 9:6, note "everlasting Father " .

As we became sinners because of Adam`s sin, an event in which we had no part, we become righteous because of Christ`s act, an event in which we had no part. Romans 5:12,18,19 .

There is nothing in man, not one thing, that makes man acceptable to God, yet man, his experience, his new birth, his "righteous living", are the focus of today`s Christian message.Do we need to be reminded that sin began when Lucifer became focused on his beauty, God`s work in his person, rather than on God who did the work ?

NOW IS THE JUDGMENT OF THIS WORLD.

The world was found guilty at the judgment... and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6.

The new Adam bore His responsiblity as the new father of human beings. The judgment of this world took place at the cross in 31AD and the believer`s Advocate stood for them and bore their punishment. Thats why the NASB renders John 5:24 this way :

TRULY,TRULY, I SAY UNTO YOU,HE WHO HEARS MY WORD,AND BELIEVES ON HIM WHO SENT ME, HAS ETERNAL LIFE, AND DOES NOT COME INTO JUDGMENT, BUT HAS PASSED OUT OF DEATH INTO LIFE .

The judgment for believers is over. The verdict was NOT GUILTY !The price was paid for their transgressions. Why then does time continue ? Those without an advocate must stand for themselves in another judgment yet to come.Time continues so that the entire universe can see that God has been just and the justifier of them that believe in Jesus. For this Christ must be lifted up in the beauty of holiness. His sacrifice must be seen as more, much more than we usually think. Only Christ lifted up and His sacrifice seen as more than what we have previously thought, will cause every knee to bow and every tongue to confess. We Christians must probe more deeply to see Jesus, so as to see God and the justice of His cause. If you have seen me, you have seen the Father.

Jesus came to do away with sin.Affliction shall not rise up a second time. Nahum 1:9. Sin is so evil it has confused man, and confused man has confused the truth of God. Israel was God`s true church on earth.Acts 7;37,38 . For 2,000 years they looked for the Promised One, but when He came, confused by sin, they killed Him.

Has human nature greatly changed since Christ`s day ? Will it be any different at the Second Coming ? Will professed Christians persecute true believers ? How severe will be the tribulations, the time of trouble such as never was ? How deceptive is sin ?

It appears to be in God`s plan that in these last day events, sin will be seen for the evil that it is throughout the whole universe, and that God will be seen in all His glory for reconciling the world unto Himself.

EVERY KNEE WILL BOW...

Affliction shall not rise up a second time. Amen.
