Should the neighbor`s children break your window while playing ball, you go to the children`s father who must pay for the mistake of his children. This principle is observed thoughout the entire world.The father is responsible for the acts of his children. The father must pay the penalty. This is universal in agreement. This principle is the results of the rationalization of intelligent minds found in every quarter of the globe.

This thinking makes God responsible for sin, but not the cause. He created Adam and Eve. He breathed the life principle into Adam. Adam is of God. Luke 3:38 says that Adam was a son of God. Therefore God was responsible for Adam and any mistake he would make. Has God met His responsibilty ? If so, how ?

Adam sinned and God must pay the penalty. Worst still is the fact that Adam was the father of humanity, and when he sinned , all humans in Adam sinned also.The whole race was condemned in sin because of Adam`s sin.

WHEREFORE, AS BY ONE MAN SIN ENTERED INTO THE WORLD...THEREFORE AS BY THE OFFENSE OF ONE JUDGMENT CAME UPON ALL MEN TO CONDEMNATION... . Romans 5:12,19 .

Adam, as the father of humanity, was responsible for his offspring. However, because he had sinned , he could not meet this obligation. If God was liable for Adam, He was liable also for his children.

When Adam and Eve lost their innocence they made themselves garments to cover their shame. This indicates that they were sorry for what they did and they were trying to atone for it as best that they could.

Here was the great Creator, high and lifted up, dwelling in light, glory and majesty beyond human comprehension.Could not God, who is abundant in mercy and loving kindness, have said, You guys are sorry for your mistake, so I will erase this black mark from you record. Would that have not been the best way out ?

No, no, for God is just... and justice must be served.The father must pay for the mistake of his children.

This is the results of creatures being able to think and to reason independently.The principle is that one who gives life must be answerable for that life. It is a reflection of divine intelligence in whose image mankind was created. While a woman may conceive, nurture and give birth to a life, the life comes from the father. This biological truth appears to be a spiritual truth also. To be just , the one from whom life comes must be liable for that life.

How did God meet His responsibilty to humanity ?

Because of sin Adam could not meet his obligation, so God gave humanity a New Adam, even the Second Person of the godhead.

THEREFORE AS BY THE OFFENCE OF ONE JUDGMENT CAME UPON ALL MEN UNTO CONDEMNATION; EVEN SO BY THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF ONE THE FREE GIFT CAME UPON ALL MEN UNTO JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE. FOR AS BY ONE MAN`S DISOBEDIENCE MANY WERE MADE SINNERS, SO BY THE OBEDIENCE OF ONE MANY SHALL MANY BE MADE RIGHTEOUS. Romans 5:18,19 .

To be a new father to humanity and to accept a father`s obligation for his children, the Second Person of the godhead became human ,while remaining divine.

The Bible is clear that our redemption, our justification, that is our acceptence before God, is IN -emphasis on in - Jesus Christ. Romans 3:24-26. Our righteousness, that is our right standing before God, is IN Jesus. This is abundantly clear from scripture.

However, sin has confused man, and man has confused the truth of God.In our fallen nature it is natural to think that we are saved by God`s work of grace on our hearts, the new birth making us more kind, loving...etc .

Yet man`s way is not God`s way. And God`s way is not man`s way. Mankind became lost because of what the first Adam did. Mankind is saved by what the last Adam did. Not some thing done within themselves.

It was God`s will that man be created. He is 100% responsible for redeeming man from sin. He has met His obligation to mankind by the doing and dying of Jesus Christ. Only, yes ONLY, in this way-- Jesus is the Way -- could a merciful and loving God be just and the justifier of them that believe in Jesus. In this Way He can say to mankind, I have erased the black mark on your record and will draw all men.

COME UNTO ME ALL YE THAT LABOR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU, AND LEARN OF ME FOR I AM MEEK AND LOWLY IN HEART, AND YE SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. Matthew 11:28,29 .

The believer`s rest is in Jesus.

God was obligated to meet the demands of the universally recognized principle that the life giver is responsible for the life given .

This is the obligation He met, not the demands of a law given 430 years after Abraham.

This law demands perfect obedience, yet no one can perfectly obey since the Bible says that there is none, no not one that does good. Psalms 14:1-3;53:1-3; Romans 3:10-12 .

THEN WHAT USE IS THE LAW ?

1. By the law is the knowledge of sin

2. It is the rule of conduct for the believer . WHY ?

a. It benefits society when people do not lie, cheat, steal or kill.

b. As a school master to lead us to Christ.When we fail we must

fall on the mercy of Christ

c. For the benefit of others.

LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS, AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. Matthew 5;16 .

No man is perfect before God, but should appear to be blameless BEFORE men. Note :

NOAH WAS A RIGHTEOUS MAN, BLAMELESS AMONG THE PEOPLE OF HIS TIME... . Genesis 6:9 NIV . So were Job and Daniel.

God was obligated to the lives He brought into existence. He had no other choice.This course was demanded by the rational thinking of independent intelligent beings which reflected the thinking of the One in whose image they were created.

God could not be true to Himself and not meet this obligation.
