In Part I of The USA in Bible Prophecy, it was shown that the US is the 7th
Kingdom of Revelation 17:10, which reads :
And there are sevens kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh he must continue a short space.
The five fallen were Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece. Rome is the one that is with the US the one to come.
Just as there will be two comings of Christ, so there will be two comings of anti-Christ; one past and one future.
The one in the past, the Holy Roman Empire, lasted 1260 prophetic days or 1260 years, ending in 1798. It appears that the one in the future will be 3 ½ literal years.
If the beast of Revelation 13 is the Holy Roman Empire, a religion using the state to enforce its teachings, then who is the lamb like beast that speaks like a dragon beginning with verse 11 ?
He makes fire come down from heaven and says to all the world that they should make an IMAGE to the beast, that is, a religion using the state to enforce its teachings.
At present the USA is the only nation with enough world influence to do this. Our movies, books, and other forms of entertainment are consumed
world wide while many aspects of our culture are copied.
While extreme Islam poses a serious threat, we can see American Christians uniting to oppose it.
Our Judeo-Christian-Islamic religion has roots that go back 4,000 years to when Abraham was called out of Ur of the Chaldees which was in Babylonia. He was called out of Babylon which means confusion.. The ruins of Ur are in present day Iraq.
The descendants of Abraham` s eldest son, Ishmael, inhabited Arabia and founded Islam in the early 600s AD. Isaac` s offspring were the Jews and the first Christians .
According to Revelation 18:1-4, our religion ends the way it began , with God calling His people out of Babylon/confusion. From Eastern Orthodox to neo-Pentecostalism, there is a great deal of confusion within the Christianity of today. Who would deny this ?
The huge Charismatic revivals within the US are attempts to bring down
The Latter Rain or cloven tongues of fire from heaven.
It certainly appears that we are becoming more conservative politically. I feel that this is good. However, we know that a conservative nation would be more likely to force religion on its citizens than a liberal one would.
WHAT IS THE CONFUSION FROM WHICH GOD MUST CALL HIS PEOPLE IN THESE LAST DAYS ?
